2005 – 2006
- Eduardo qualifies for World Salsa Championship with partners Heidi Wade (2005) and Charlene Rose (2006).
2006
- March: Eduardo begins working with Heather.
- September: Debut performance of the couple’s first choreography: “Belén” (song by Justo Betancourt).
- December: “E. Mayimbe Dance Company” Company name established and group classes begin in Seattle.
2007
- February: Eduardo nominated “Best Male Dancer” at the NW Salsa Awards in Portland, Oregon.
- February: Eduardo & Heather participate in “Dance to Raise the Roof” fundraising event for Habitat for Humanity.
- April: Performance at opening gala of Univisión/KUNS TV channel 51 at KOMO studios in Seattle.
- May: Debut of new “Carmen” choreography (song by Felix del Rosario) at West Coast Salsa Congress Competition in LosAngeles (took 2nd place).
- June: Classes established in Renton in affiliation with Spotlight Dance Center. Heather establishes “Caliente! Latin Dance Workout" class for Team Survivor NW's "Viva Dance!" fitness program for lady cancer survivors.
- June 22nd-23rd: Couple wins 1st place at 3rd Annual Gemini Portland Salsa Competition and qualifies for 3rd Annual World Salsa Championship.
- July: Performances at Washington Hispanic Festival in Centralia, Washington.
- September: Performance in Seattle Seahawk’s football season home opener halftime show.
- October: Performance in Bellevue Community College Latino Student Association/Sammamish High School Latin HEAT Hispanic Heritage fundraising event.
- November: Performance at the 6th Annual San Francisco International Salsa Congress in Oakland, CA.
- November: Eduardo & Heather perform & teach at the 2nd Annual Seattle Salsa Congress.
- December: Debut performance of "Latin Soul" choreography (song by Chollo Rivera).
- December: Eduardo & Heather compete in the 3rd Annual World Salsa Championship in Orlando, Florida, placing among the top 25 couples in a pool of international competitors.
2008
- February: Eduardo & Heather perform & teach at the 2nd Annual Hawaii Salsa Festival.
- March: Performances at Treehouse for Kids Benefit.
- April - May: Debut of "El Rey" choreography (song by Ralph Robles). Performances at Century Ballroom, Somos el Son Salsa Party, World Rhythm Festival and Northwest Folklife Festival in Seattle and Mambo Lounge Cinco de Mayo Party in Portland.
- May 29th – June 1st: Performed in the 10th Annual Los Angeles Salsa Congress Evening Shows and competed in the LA Congress Competition, placing 2nd.
- June 13th - 14th: Competed in the 4th Annual Gemini Salsa Competition in Portland, winning 1st Place for the second consecutive year and qualifying again to compete at the World Salsa Championship.
- July 4th - 5th: Performed in the 5th Annual Las Vegas Salsa Congress.
