LEVEL II SALSA CLASSES

Class Description

 

Level II/Intermedtate classes build on the foundation built in the Level I series and Basics class with footwork patterns and partnering combinations that increase in complexity: cross-body leads with turns, throwing/catching the hand, double turns and hook turns, open breaks with 360's, for example. Styling for men and women is also covered in both the footwork section and partnering section of each lesson. Eduardo & Heather also cover techniques and exercises to help students improve their speed and spinning skills, including “spotting” and foot placement.

 

It is recommended to wear comfortable, clean shoes with a smooth sole (no 'street shoes' or rubber soles) that offer some sort of ankle support (i.e., not "flip flops").
